What is occupational therapy?
Pediatric occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need to thrive in their everyday activities—what we call their occupations. For children, these occupations include play, learning at school, and self-care tasks like feeding, dressing, and grooming.
At Beyond OT, we take a holistic and individualized approach. We look beyond the surface to understand all the factors that may impact your child’s ability to fully engage—such as their environment, motivations, strengths, and available supports. By using a wide range of evidence-based techniques and interventions, we help children grow, connect, and participate with confidence in the world around them.
