General Questions
Q: What is occupational therapy (OT)?
A: : Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate in everyday activities — like playing, getting dressed, using utensils, or engaging with peers. This can include support for:
Fine motor skills (e.g., handwriting, buttoning, cutting)
Visual motor integration (how the eyes and hands work together)
Sensory processing (how a child experiences and responds to sensory input)
Emotional regulation and self-help skills
Helping children feel safe and confident around food

Q: What is speech therapy?
A: We’re excited to be expanding our team to offer speech and language therapy later this year! Speech therapy supports a child’s ability to communicate, connect, and understand the world around them. Our upcoming services will include support in areas such as:
Expressive and receptive language
Articulation and motor speech
Social communication and connection
AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
Gestalt Language Processing

Q: Who do you work with?
A: We primarily work with children from early childhood through early adolescence age. Each child we see brings their own strengths and challenges, and we tailor therapy to meet them where they are. A formal diagnosis is not required to receive services. We welcome all children who may benefit from support with motor skills, sensory regulation, emotional development, or everyday routines — regardless of whether they’ve been evaluated.

“We love Mrs. Kiran! She’s kind, helpful, & resourceful! Being a mother is the hardest job & I was lucky to find a person like her to help navigate us through all this! Each week she’s like my little prep talk that I’m doing everything right for my kid and that all my crazy thoughts are normal as a parent! My kid looks forward to seeing her every week. I highly recommend her services!”
